Pronounced ka-ree-boo, means "welcome" in Swahili

Decorated with African artifacts, this vintage log cabin is close to the lake – ideal for your "Northwoods safari." This is the last of the original cabins and has been dubbed an historical marker.

Open May 1 through October 1, Karibu features two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen/dining area and a living room with TV and VCR/DVD. The master bedroom contains a double bed, and the second bedroom has both a double bed and a set of bunks.

If you are looking for a bit of Northwoods nostalgia, the rustic Karibu is perfect, with a great view of Squaw Lake from its quaint, up-north green screened porch.
